According to the AREI- art. 47, BA4 – warned persons and BA5 – authorized persons should receive appropriate training to minimize the risks associated with electricity.
Purpose, description and duration:
This training aims to provide students with the necessary basic information regarding electrical hazards so that they are able to:
- Recognize the dangers of electricity
- Be motivated to make appropriate use of work equipment and necessary protective equipment
- Be able to respond appropriately in an emergency situation
At the end of the course (BA4 or BA5) there is a brief written evaluation.
BA4: 1 day:
Alerted persons should know the electrical hazards associated with the work entrusted to them or be permanently monitored by a competent person during the work entrusted to them.
BA5: 2 days (with the first day being the same as BA4):
BA 5 training is aimed at anyone who is exposed to the hazards of electricity while performing their work as an electrician, engineer or in any other position.
BA4 course content:
- Prevention and Protection: Introduction to risk management.
- Global risk management system
- Concepts of electricity
- Legislation
- Areas of tension
- Dangers of electricity
- Grant of codification BA4/BA5.
- Electric classrooms
- Effects of electrification
- Absolute and relative conventional limit stress
- Phenomena of current passage through the body – influence of U, I, R, exposure time
- Electric arc and short circuit arc
- Grid Systems
- Protective devices: fuse, circuit breaker, loss circuit breaker, grounding
- Protection against RA and OA
- IP protection degree
- Overcurrent
- Deviant voltage
- Switches
- Classes of electrical equipment
- Prevention
- Working Procedure
- Live zone, proximity zone, off-voltage zone
- Personal protective equipment
