Static boom lifts exist in the form of truck, van or trailer mounted boom lifts.
Any worker operating a static aerial work platform is required by law to undergo appropriate training.
If an exam is successfully passed after the training, the participant receives a certificate valid for 5 years. If not passing the exam, the participant will receive a certificate of participation in training valid for 5 years.
This training can be organized in Formaz’s training rooms or in-company. The length of training varies according to the candidates’ prior knowledge.
Duration of training:
- A safety training course lasts one day, is designed for drivers with some experience and concludes with a safety exam. This course can also serve as 5-year refresher training. Some of the training can also take the form of on-the-job coaching.
- A proficiency training course lasts two days and concludes with a proficiency exam.
