As part of growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager dedicated to further developing our business throughout Flanders. In these challenging times, as a Business Development Manager, you will take commercial work to heart in all its facets:
- You will map the market and then actively seek new business for safety training. Through active prospecting, you plan your own client visits with the goal of primarily cashing in on new training orders and building long-term client relationships.
- You will develop customized commercial partnership proposals, negotiate terms and conditions through to closing the deal.
- You will discuss requests for the fulfillment of specific training needs with your inside sales colleagues who will continue to handle the planning and administration.
Profile
- You can look back on successful sales experience preferably within the service industry.
- You are a strong networker who participates, thinks and (under)acts at a high level. You get energy from making contacts and building sustainable long-term relationships.
- Drive, perseverance, excellent persuasion and negotiation skills are essential to position yourself in this competitive business.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; able to work self-directed and autonomously.
- Fluent communicator and listening skills: you are perfectly capable of finding an appropriate solution for your client for every challenge.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and French.
- Affinity for training or safety are a plus but not a must.
- You preferably live in the triangle Ghent-Antwerp-Brussels.
