Description:
The Fire Training Unit (FTU) is a trailer 4 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.9 meters high, specially designed to organize professional training of small fire extinguishers.
An approval from the fire department is not required as no outdoor fires are made.
The FTU is wind and rain independent.
Only foam and CO2 are extinguished, so there is no waste, pollution or cleanup.
Location:
Both at the customer and at Formaz, in open air.
A 3×3 meter tent will be placed in front of the FTU so that a total of 18 meters of free space must be provided.
Supplies:
We need a city water connection (Gardena type) and an electricity connection 240V at a maximum of 40 meters.
Exercises:
- Extinguishing A and B fires with gas-fired fire trainer from BF hybrid.
- Extinguishing an F fire with a wet cloth.
- Extinguishing a manikin with a fire blanket.
- Extinguishing a fuse box with CO2, smoke simulation.
PPE:
Fire retardant coveralls and safety glasses will be provided (1 of each size provided, must be changed).
Participants will wear easy footwear and tie up long hair.
Admission requirements:
Each participant is a minimum of 18 years of age.

There is no exam.
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
