A fixed telehandler has a non-rotating telescopic mast and is used to deposit the load at a certain height without being able to stand just below the deposition point. Think of delivering pallets of roof tiles to construction sites.
Every worker who operates a telehandler is required by law to undergo appropriate training.
If an exam is successfully passed after the training, the participant receives a certificate valid for 5 years. If not passing the exam, the participant will receive a certificate of participation in training valid for 5 years.
These trainings can be organized at Formaz training centers or in-company if certain conditions are met. The duration of the training varies according to the participant’s prior knowledge and the desired certificate/attestation.
Duration of training:
- A safety training course lasts one day, is designed for drivers with some experience and concludes with a safety exam. This course can also serve as 5-year refresher training. Some of the training can also take the form of on-the-job coaching.
- A proficiency training course lasts two days and concludes with a proficiency exam.
