Anyone working with a forklift is required by law to take appropriate training. It makes sense, because operating a forklift is not without danger.
If your employee has never or rarely driven a forklift or does not yet have a certificate, then basic training (proficiency) is the best choice.
Does the participant already have forklift experience? If so, you can connect it to a one-day safety training course (refresher).
Both forklift training courses can be organized at Formaz’s training centers or in-company. For basic users, people often choose to continue the training at Formaz (in open supply) because then learning to drive is done in a safe environment.
Duration of these courses:
- A safety training course lasts one day, is designed for drivers with some experience and concludes with a safety exam. This course can also serve as 5-year refresher training. Some of the training can also take the form of on-the-job coaching.
- A proficiency training course lasts several days and concludes with a proficiency exam. The length of training varies according to the participant’s prior knowledge and experience.
