A level order picker or order picker is used indoors only and is used to collect (picking) or stock (receiving) orders. The driver goes up with them. This device is also called a man-up.
Every employee who operates an order-picking truck is required by law to undergo appropriate training.
If an exam is successfully passed after the training, the participant receives a certificate valid for 5 years. If not passing the exam, the participant will receive a certificate of participation in training valid for 5 years.
These trainings can be organized at Formaz training centers or in-company if certain conditions are met. The duration of the training varies according to the participant’s prior knowledge and the desired certificate/attestation.
Duration of training:
- A safety training course lasts one day, is designed for drivers with some experience and concludes with a safety exam. This course can also serve as 5-year refresher training. Some of the training can also take the form of on-the-job coaching.
- A proficiency training course lasts two days and concludes with a proficiency exam.
