Self-propelled aerial platform exist in the form of articulated boom/telescope and scissor lifts.
Every worker who operates aerial work platforms is required by law to undergo appropriate training.
If an exam is successfully passed after the training, the participant receives a certificate valid for 5 years. If not passing the exam, the participant will receive a certificate of participation in training valid for 5 years.
This training can be organized in Formaz’s training center or in-company. The length of training varies according to the candidates’ prior knowledge.
Duration of training:
- A safety training course lasts one day, is designed for drivers with some experience and concludes with a safety exam. This course can also serve as 5-year refresher training. Some of the training can also take the form of on-the-job coaching.
- A proficiency training course lasts two days and concludes with a proficiency exam.
